"Getting a solid handle on my finances has been so important. It has really changed my outlook on the future. Aryeh was so critical and helpful in making that happen. I've shared his talents with all my brothers and sisters."
G.S. California
In a nutshell, this is the whole advocacy system. We help people make conscious and well-informed choices about their and their loved ones' financial security. We almost exclusively work with the friends and family of current clients.
The dictionary defines advocacy as "pleading the cause of one that can not speak up for themselves." Your children will not ask you to protect their futures against the unexpected. The "you" of twenty years from now, cannot speak up in the present. Your relatives and friends are not likely to ask about financial matters. It's too personal. Finances are a taboo subject in our society, only to be spoken about in general terms that don't reveal the reality. Here at The Aryeh Goldbloom Team, our passion is to speak up for those that cannot, and help people consider their responsibility for those they care about most.
The importance of having the counsel of a good, truly independent financial planner cannot be underestimated. Virtually no one stops to consider what would happen to their family or their business in the event that they became disabled or worse. Likewise, it is human nature to want to spend money on things that can be enjoyed today, rather than planning and saving for the future. Besides the potentially disastrous consequences of failing to protect one's family or saving appropriately for the future, the peace of mind that comes from having a sound financial plan and of really understanding your plan is invaluable.
Furthermore, the vast majority of those who have sat down with a financial planner or insurance agent have not had the chance to consider the best options available to them. Most financial planners and insurance agents have affiliations which inevitably bias their advice and limit the options they present to their clients. Having the counsel of someone whose only vested interest is you is both extremely valuable and extremely rare.
Even if they've met with a financial planner previously, everyone walks away from their very first meeting with Aryeh - a free, no obligation consultation - with a heightened awareness of their personal financial status and innovative options for wealth protection and/or wealth enhancement.
People who have a "brother's keeper" sense of responsibility for those they care about choose to share the opportunity with friends, family, and associates. They arrange for those they care about to have an initial meeting with Aryeh. Because finances are by nature very intimate, this act of caring is arranged in the most discreet and respectful manner.
This is not a "referral" in the sense that is typical in our industry. Most financial planners or insurance agents have been trained to ask for referrals as a favor to themselves or even as part of their compensation. Here at The Aryeh Goldbloom Team, we feel that our clients owe us nothing. Rather, we owe our clients timely and constructive financial advice and the best service possible. However, because meeting with a knowledgeable and independent financial planner is so powerfully important to families and their futures, it is your responsibility to see that they meet with Aryeh or someone else like him.
This is what the Advocacy process is all about. It provides an easy and inoffensive way for those we have already touched to express their love and concern for those they care about - to help them have the same opportunity to make conscious and well-informed decisions about their and their family's financial futures.
One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is when a client calls back and shares the appreciation they have received from friends they have helped through The Aryeh Goldbloom Team. |
